Dogs that are experiencing behavior or aggression problems take more time to deconstruct. Therefore, it takes more effort to investigate the start of the problem and how to fix it. Undesired behavior takes time to fix. Most of the time, bad behavior doesn't just happen overnight-it takes multiple events to create and takes even more time to repair. A dog that is experiencing fear does not improve overnight. Their are many factors that go in to the why's and how's of what is going on in your dog's mind. Sometimes, the dog needs more basic training to give it confidence. Other times, training is more complex and small steps need to be trained to get to the end goal. Dogs are sensitive, intuitive and smart beings. Their welfare needs to be kept in consideration when trying to help them. Kindness goes a long way. For some dogs, equipment needs to be changed. Other dogs need environmental adjustments. I will adjust the training so that your dog feels more comfortable about the things that scare him/her. Some dogs can only change a little and we need to adjust our lives to them to make them happier. As you can see, there is no cookie cutter plan that fits every dog. I will help you understand what is going on with your dog and teach you positive, kind ways to help them get through life in a happier way.
